Teachers
Teachers sign in to ClassAdapt using Google OAuth authentication.
When a teacher registers, we may collect:
- Name (as provided by Google)
- Email address
- Basic account identifier information from Google
We do not collect passwords, as authentication is handled securely through Google.
Students
Students do not register for ClassAdapt.
Students access lessons using a class link provided by their teacher.
We do not collect personal information such as:
- Student names
- Student email addresses
- Student login credentials
2. How We Use Information
We use teacher account information to:
- Provide access to the ClassAdapt platform
- Enable lesson adaptation features
- Maintain and improve our services
- Communicate important service updates
We do not use personal information for advertising or selling to third parties.
3. Google Authentication
ClassAdapt uses Google Sign-In (OAuth) to authenticate teachers.
By signing in with Google, you agree that Google may share basic profile information (such as your email and name) with us for the purpose of creating and maintaining your account.
We do not access your Google Drive, Gmail content, or any other Google services unless explicitly stated.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data.
We may share information only:
- With trusted service providers who help us operate the platform

- To protect the safety and integrity of our users and service

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information from:

Teacher account information is retained for as long as the account remains active.
If a teacher deletes their account or requests deletion, we will remove associated personal data within a reasonable timeframe.
Students’ access via class links does not result in stored personal data.

ClassAdapt is designed for use by teachers and students in educational settings.
Students do not create accounts or submit personal registration information directly to ClassAdapt.
Teachers are responsible for ensuring appropriate use of class access links.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Request access to your personal data
- Request correction or deletion
- Object to certain data uses
