Simple Electric Circuit Simulation
This interactive simulation shows a basic series circuit containing a battery, a lamp, and a switch. Tap the switch to open or close the circuit.
When the switch is closed, the circuit is complete — current flows from the battery, through the wire, through the lamp, and back to the battery. The lamp lights up and animated dots show the direction of current flow around the loop.
When the switch is open, the circuit is broken — no current flows and the lamp goes off.
