Both lamps are joined to the same two junctions, so each one is connected straight across the battery and gets the full 6 V — and each takes its own 0.30 A. The ammeter is in the main line, so it reads the branch currents added together. Take one lamp out and only its own branch breaks: the other still has a complete path of its own, so it stays lit at exactly the same brightness. In a series circuit that one break would have stopped everything.
